We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

With Pitti Uomo (fashion week) coinciding with our wedding week, the city will be buzzing with excitement and activity.

To ensure you get the best flight options and prices, we recommend booking your tickets early.

trains & automobiles

The nearest airport is Florence Airport (FLR), about 20 minutes by car from our recommended hotels.
While there are no direct flights to FLR from New York or Los Angeles, connecting flights to Florence can be convenient and affordable.
Alternatively, you can fly directly to Rome (FCO), Milan (MXP), or Venice (VCE) and continue to Florence from there (BY TRAIN OR CAR).

by plane

Florence’s Santa Maria Novella station is in the city center and offers excellent connections across Italy and Europe.
High-speed trains take about 1.5 hours from Rome and just under 2 hours from Milan.

pRO tIP: Booking tickets online is easy and quick. keep an eye out for the 4 digit train code on your ticket! 10-15 minutes before departure the departure gates will be announced on screens at the station.

by train

Florence is ~2.5 hours from Rome and ~3 hours from Milan by car. The countryside drive from Rome is stunning, with charming towns like Montepulciano, Siena, and Arezzo along the way.

However, driving in Florence can be tricky due to narrow streets and limited hotel parking. We suggest ditching the car when you arrive in Florence and exploring the city on foot. For longer trips, taxis and rideshares are readily available.
